			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you have been reading <a href="http://twitter.com/SeanMcColgan">my tweets</a> recently you will see I have been linking out to a number of useful <a href="https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748">GreaseMonkey</a> Scripts that help improve <a href="http://www.google.com/analytics/">Google Analytics</a> in various ways &#8211; improved social media metrics, improved keyword trends etc.</p>
<p>For those of you that don’t know what Greasemonkey is &#8211; in short it’s a <a href="http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/">FireFox</a> plug-in that allows you to customize the way a web page displays using small bits of JavaScript.</p>
<p>One of the first things I do in the morning while having breakfast is review my clients analytics data &#8211; From conversions to search traffic to goals and paid keywords effectiveness etc.</p>
<p>Over time I have discovered some essential <strong>Greasemonkey scripts for Google Analytics</strong> that have helped me “go deeper” into the data &#8211; listed below are my top five…</p>

<p>Simple plug-in that converts percent values to absolute values in tables. Helps makes your analytics data more human.</p>
<p>4. <a href="http://spanishgringo.blogspot.com/2009/01/new-version-of-analytics-export-to.html">Export to Google Docs</a></p>
<p>Great plug-in that allows you to export your analytics data to Google Docs. Once exported you can play around with <a href="http://code.google.com/apis/visualization/">Google’s visualisation API</a> to see your data in more interesting ways (great for presentations).</p>
<p>3. <a href="http://www.juiceanalytics.com/writing/keyword-trends-google-analytics-greasemonkey/">Enhanced Google Analytics<br />

This niftly little script from <a href="http://www.juiceanalytics.com/">Juice Analytics</a> works for keyword data. The script allows the user to see new referring sites/keywords or referring sites/keywords that have seen a significant boost in traffic sent to your website.</p>

<p>This script allows you to add Google Analytics Campaign tracking (Campaign Source, Campaign Medium and Campaign Name variables) for easy monitoring of the traffic generated by these links.</p>
